This feature cools your fridge prior to you using it (we found that this was effective in the morning, when we were getting the milk bottles ready for the children) to ensure that the temperature is optimal and minimise energy consumption.
The InstaView Door-in-Door also shows the contents of an internal compartment, which is stocked with beverages and food items for easy access, along with an LED strip light of 24cm to ensure everything is organized and lit. This compartment can be accessed via the InstaView pane or the main fridge door. It was much easier to load the top balcony through the Door-in Door than the main refrigerator cabinet. But that's only an issue of minor importance.
In addition to the above, these LG fridge freezers come with a few other technologies that help keep your food fresher for longer, such as Surround Cooling and Pure N Fresh, which combine traditional rear and door cooling outlets with a carbon deodoriser and an air compressor that pushes air into and around the refrigerator shelves to keep it fresh. The LFXS30796D also has a UVNano dispenser that emits a brief burst of ultraviolet light every hour to combat bacteria, while a 'freshness sensor' will notify you when it's time to replenish the refrigerator's contents.
